“Dinner with Don” Trailer Released for Don Rickles Series
A Don Rickles conversation series which was planned as the first release for AARP Studios will still be released, and the production company released the trailer today.
Titled Dinner with Don, the series was set to have legendary comedian Don Rickles sit down with old friends and entertainers who list him as one of their inspirations. The list released just last month includes folks like Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro, Marisa Tomei, Billy Crystal, Amy Poehler, Jimmy Kimmel, Vince Vaughn, Paul Rudd, Sarah Silverman, and Zach Galifianakis.
During each of the series’ first ten episodes, Rickles and his guest will hit up some of his favorite Los Angeles dining spots, such as The Palm, Craig’s, and Dan Tana’s. The conversation between the two will be supplemented by archived footage and photographs of both Rickles and his guests in action.

Don was known for his biting, acerbic humor and we feel lucky enough to have experienced that first-hand. He was also a thoughtful, kind and generous colleague and friend. Don continued to make audiences laugh throughout his life and career and his legacy will live on. We send our condolences to his family and longtime industry colleagues.”
