Dicks Sporting Goods is Destroying Guns They Didn’t Sell

After the Parkland shootings, Dicks Sporting Gods announced they would stop selling guns at their stores. A spokesperson for the company said, “We are in the process of destroying all firearms and accessories that are no longer for sale as a result of our February 28th policy change,”. The rifles will be demolished at distribution centers and then delivered to a salvage company to be recycled. This is much better than plan b, just throwing them in the dumpsters behind the stores.
