Debra Messing Trashes E! While On E!
While on the red carpet for the Golden Globes, Debra Messing called out E! for not paying women co-hosts the same as men. They do however pay male and female interns the same – nothing.
Yesterday Amy Schumer had put the call out on social media, asking celebrities to call out E! on the Globes red carpet. She wrote, “If you’re on the carpet tonight or at home post in support and ask @eentertainment what happened? We thought you would be for pay equality and say #imwithcattsad @iamcattsadler”
Catt Sadler quit E! over the pay disparity issue. In December she learned that her male cohost made double what she was earning. Messing was the only celebrity on the carpet we caught taking up the cause.
