Dave Chapelle Surprises Crowd with Post Midnight Set Straight Off the Plane
Dave Chapelle landed in Montreal last night for a big week of a record setting 10 sold out shows at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal this week. Rather than go rest up, Chappelle headed over to the 100 seat Theatre Saint-Catherine and floored the audience with an unannounced hour set. Giving new meaning to the appropriately titled OFF-JFL show Midnight Surprise, Chappelle sent shockwaves through the building when he arrived.
Chapelle’s 10 show run starts tonight at 7pm but the really big news is that handful of seats have been released for the sold out series. Most likely they’re already gone by the time you’re reading this but you can check availability at hahaha.com.
