The season finale of the outstanding stand up series “Comedy Underground with Dave Attell” airs tonight on Comedy Central.

It’s been 10 years since Dave Attell’s “Insomniac” series was on  Comedy Central and he came back this season to great reviews. “Comedy Underground” takes stand up comedy on TV back to its rawest form. There’s no theaters, camera cranes or giant spotlights . Just a brick wall backdrop provided by the Village Underground in New York City where the show is shot with the help of audience members holding Go-Pros.

With no bleeps or other forms of censorship, viewers got to see their favorite comics in their most natural environment. Comedians like Louis Katz, Robert Kelly, Luenell, Amy Schumer, Jim Norton, Lynne Koplitz, “Lil Rel” Howery, Judah Friedlander, Big Jay Oakerson, Ralphie May, Artie Lange and Ari Shaffir all took the stage on Comedy Underground this season and showed how explosive stand up comedy can be in an intimate setting.

Tonight’s finale will be no different. Dave Attell wraps up his first season with performances from Jesse Joyce, Al Jackson and Tom Rhodes, along with special guest Ron Jeremy.

You can watch the season finale of Comedy Underground with Dave Attell tonight at 1am Eastern on Comedy Central. The finale will be followed by Dave Attell’s latest stand up special “Road Work” at 1:30 am Eastern.
