The pic on the main article has a link to watch a video of a child reacting to eating sugar.

Oh it’s a brita commercial, presented under the guise of a video titled “a sugar explosion”.

I don’t often agree with the inflated ego fueled aggression so often demonstrated by a good number of cops, but I just watched the dash cam video from the chase and shooting. They were totally justified in shooting the spoiled brat.

this poor cop was in fear for his life, all the cop had was his cop car, bullet proof vest, gun, shot gun ,taser, night stick and this kid was going to rake him to death.
mattrlang
November 8, 2013 at 1:41 pm
Burley How were all the students outside on campus armed? The kid was going to end up hitting someone if he continued to run. Would that be considered a justified death, if he ran over some kid outside school? If I’m the parent of the kid he would have hit, I say unload on the idiot.

still trust the liberal-facist government and corporate america to raise your children?
its bad to spank and discipline your kid for not listening, but its okay for the cops to shoot your kid for the same thing. youre a bad parent for refusing to feed your kid mcdonalds and big sugary sodas but its okay to give kids cell phones and tell them that theyre smarter than the adults around them. you give the kids credit cards and student loans when they have no means to pay them off and you wonder why the government operates the same way.

The dad had to play the grieving father role, but he was most upset about having to pay to fix the bullet holes and clean out the blood stains.

At one point one of the police asked where this chase was taking place then he said back it off, we know the family. How it ended up as it did is just “shit happens”. The one that is really at fault is the kid who threw the tantrum over not getting the cigs. The parents shares a little for reporting it as stolen.

November 9, 2013 at 7:42 am
i was not aware he was running over students, must have missed that in the article ,unless your trying to say that he might have tried to, and then, in that case cops should shoot people who are driving drunk on ridding lawn mowers, so they don’t mow down innocent people in the way.

A high school drop-out with a history of being an asshole steals his fathers work truck because the old man wouldn’t buy the little asshole a pack of cigarettes, gets into a high speed chase with the cops, refuses to pull over, crashes into cop cars, trashes the fathers trailer, trashes the truck, drives onto and through a college campus, finally stops the truck, refuses to get out or turn the fucking thing off and then gets shot?! Wow, I would have figured the cops and this young idiot would have baked cookies together at the end of this story.

Tragic ending to a shitty scenario. This is not only a justified kill, but a smart one. Open field, clear line of sight, minimal gunfire. I’m not a fan of the police but this kid was using his vehicle as a weapon and was obviously manic behind the wheel.
