Craig Robinson Joining Cast of Mr. Robot

According to the Hollywood Reporter, actor and comedian Craig Robinson, of The Office and Hot Tub Time Machine fame, has joined the cast of USA Network’s award winning series Mr. Robot.

Robinson’s character Ray will supposedly be a recurring role. Following multiple Golden Globes and a critically acclaimed first season, the show has added some more big names to its roster, including Broadway’s Grace Gummer and beloved Brooklyn rapper Joey Bada$$. Robinson’s turn as Ray will be, by far, his most dramatic role to date. Robinson’s resume is stacked with comedies like This is the End and Eastbound and Down, so the grim and brooding Mr. Robot will certainly put the veteran funny man to the test. Mr. Robot will be returning for its highly anticipated second season this summer on the USA Network.
