Craig Ferguson’s New Special Will Air in September

Craig Ferguson’s first one hour comedy special since leaving the Late Late Show in December has an air date. EPIX will air Ferguson’s new special, “Craig Ferguson: Just Being Honest” on September 10th which just happens to land on an EPIX Free Preview Weekend, so that’s good news for non-subscribers.

Craig taped the special at Town Hall in New York City in December, as part of his Hot and Grumpy Tour. Our own Jeffrey Gurian was there for the taping and said Craig came out to thunderous applause, and promised that everyone would have the opportunity to be offended by something he said before the night was out. Be ready for long, and very funny stories, including one about how Ferguson almost wrote a movie with Mick Jagger.

This is Ferguson’s second comedy special for EPIX. Craig Ferguson: Does This Need To Be Said first aired in 2011.

The special was produced by Comedy Dynamics and will air on September 10th at 10pm. Epix’s Free Preview Weekend which runs September 10-13. Subscribers can watch it live or online or through the EPIX app, and those who don’t subscribe will be able to watch online at Epix.com.
