Connecticut Mayor “Might Have Tacos” To Help the Latino Community

Break out the peace prize! Call Nobel! In a brilliant stroke of genius, East Haven Mayor Joseph Maturo has found the answer to solving the problems between law enforcement  and the Latino community in East Haven.

Earlier this week the Mayor was responding to questions about extremely serious allegations of civil rights violations taking place in his community particularly involving intimidation, harassment and humiliation of members of the Latino community.

When asked about his plans for connecting with the Latin community, Maturo said, “I might have tacos when I go home. I’m not quite sure yet.” When questioned by the reporter whether that was an appropriate response he added, “I might have sphaghetti tonight” and “I might go out and have a Latino dinner…IN the Latino community. There’s nothing wrong with that.”

Just brilliant.
