Based on a true story, and set in 1984 England, Pride stars Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, Dominic West, Andrew Scott and George MacKay. The film centers on a group of gay and lesbian activists who decide to raise money to support the families of unionized miners who are on strike. The assistance is not necessarily welcomed by the miners and their families.
Pride opens September 19, 2014 in the US.
