Comedy Central’s 5th Annual “Comedians To Watch” Tonight At The New York Comedy Festival
Comedy Central is bringing its 5th Annual “Comedians To Watch” special to Caroline’s on Broadway for the New York Comedy Festival tonight. The showcase begins at 7 pm.
The evening will be hosted by Chris Distefano and stars this year’s crop of comedians that Comedy Central says we all need to be paying attention to, including Emmy Blotnick, Robert Dean, Alex Edelman, Naomi Ekperigin, Nate Fernald, Matt Ingebretson, Kevin Iso, Jak Knight, David Smithyman, Julio Torres and Ricky Velez.
The special not only exposes these comics to a New York Comedy Festival audience, but also to industry execs as well as fans. Past comedians that have appeared on Comedy Central’s “Comedians To Watch” specials include Michael Che from Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update, Brooks Wheelan, Ali Wong, Andrew Santino, Emily Heller, Kurt Braunohler and Tone Bell. And we’re still watching them.
For anyone that can’t make the show tonight at Caroline’s in NYC, the “5th Annual Comedians To Watch” special will be available on CC.com the Comedy Central app on Wednesday, November 12th through Friday, November 14th.
