Comedy Central Announces Its Next Hour Special: Julian McCullough

Comedy Central announced their next hour special today. Julian McCullough will premiere his hour “Maybe I’m a Man” on Friday June 8th at midnight. You’ve seen him on The “Tonight Show”, “Conan”, “Comedy Knockout” and Ari Shaffir’s “This is Not Happening”, his podcast “Julian Loves Music”, and “The Soft Spot”, and now you’ll get to see him deliver a surprisingly personal hour of coming of age comedy.

McCullough’s rootless upbringing with too cool, free-spirited parents is the foundation of his hour stand-up special that incorporates stories about his jazz-loving, psychedelic-dabbling father, culture-shocking moves from coast-to-coast, first jobs as a teenager, first loves as a college student and much more. A self-proclaimed “hopeless romantic,” McCullough fought the good fight on his way to manhood, and he’s got the emotional — and physical — markings to prove it.

Julian McCullough has toured the country enough to earn Diamond Medallion Status on Delta Airlines

Watch him tell his story on This is Not Happening, and mark your calendar for Friday June 8th. Midnight.
