Colin Quinn Could Have Been a Cop
Monday night, Colin Quinn sat down with Trevor Noah on The Daily Show and talked about his web series, Cop Show. When Noah told him that he really does come across like a cop in the series, Colin surprised him by saying he actually took a police test, got a 96, and they never called him. It’s a story he shares in his book, The Coloring Book, but it’s great to actually hear him tell it. “I think it’s because in those days they would go to your block, where you grew up, and ask, like ring the neighbors bell when you weren’t around and ask what do you think of this guy.” Apparently he didn’t get such good scores on that part of the test.
Quinn also explained how he got Jerry Seinfeld to produce his one man “The New York Story based on his amazing book The Coloring Book.
