Colin Kaepernick is on the cover of GQ as their “Citizen of the Year” and the magazine referred to him as the “man who became the movement”. Shouldn’t his knee be on the cover?

      Why would he be in the unemployment line? He has his NFL pension and paid speaking engagements for the rest of his life – plus whatever he has from his playing days and sponsorship deals.

        I’m not so sure people will be interested in hearing him speak for “the rest of his life,” and I’m not sure when he can start drawing from his NFL pension, but one presumes it would be around 55, if not later. But as an NFL quarterback, he is unemployed. See, that was the joke. Remember, this is supposed to be a humor site. 😉
