The CIA Starbucks Is Serious Business

STARBUCKS-RESULTSThe Washington Post took a look at the Starbucks in the CIA and found the following:

The baristas go through rigorous interviews and background checks and need to be escorted by agency “minders” to leave their work area. There are no frequent-customer award cards, because officials fear the data stored on the cards could be mined by marketers and fall into the wrong hands, outing secret agents.

Agents also won’t give names to be written on their cups – they’re just not used to putting that need to know info out there. That’s why every single order goes up as Tradecraft.
