Kathy Bates Will Star In A Chuck Lorre Pot Sitcom On Netflix

The current reigning King of Sit-Coms Chuck Lorre is breaking away from CBS for a new half-hour multi-camera comedy on Netflix that has already been ordered to series with a 20 episode order right off the bat. Lorre is executive producer with David Javerbaum, who won 11 Emmys working on The Daily Show.
The show is titled Disjointed, and will star Oscar and Emmy award winning actress Kathy Bates as a “lifelong advocate for legalization” who is now running her own business in an L.A. area dispensary with three “budtenders”, her son and a “deeply-troubled” security guard. It’s gonna be a whole lot easier to binge watch his vanity cards at the end of every episode now.
