Christopher Guest’s ‘Mascots’ Official Trailer

Last month,  we reported that Netflix had announced a premiere date for their new show from Best in Show and A Mighty Wind creator Christopher Guest, called Mascots. The film is an intimate look into the ridiculous(ly competitive) world of mascots, documenting their journey towards the most prestigious award in their field, the Gold Fluffy. The ensemble cast is full of familiar faces (many of whom are repeat Guest-film stars), featuring folks such as Fred Willard (This Is Spinal Tap, Everybody Loves Raymond), Jane Lynch (Glee, Best in Show), Parker Posey (Best in Show, Dazed and Confused), Ed Begley Jr. (This Is Spinal Tap, St. Elsewhere), Chris O’Dowd (Moone Boy, Bridesmaids), comedian Brad Williams and a host of others.

Now, we have a trailer to go along with that killer cast. Netflix dropped the trailer on Thursday afternoon, and it does a good job of painting just how outlandish the show’s characters and overall vibe are going to be. Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Mascots will be making its worldwide debut on October 13th, with the film becoming available on Netflix everywhere as well as showing in a few theaters around the country.
