Earlier this spring, Comedian Chris Hardwick, head of the popular Nerdest Empire and host of Comedy Central’s @midnight, announced his new comedy and music festival, that promises to bring all of the movers and shakers of both industries together for an unprecedented weekend. Now we’re getting a glimpse at ID10T fest’s lineup which includes Michael Che, Demetri Martin, Nikki Glaser, Zeds Dead, Crystal Castles, and Weezer. But it’s the panels that the initial announcement is focused on, including MST3K, Harmontown, Portlandia, and Stan Against Evil.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 featuring Jonah Ray, Hampton Yount, Rebecca Hanson and host Wil Wheaton:

This panel will celebrate the nearly 30 year old cult-classic show, originally created by and starring Joel Hodgson, now starring Jonah Ray, Baron Vaughn, Felicia Day, Patton Oswalt, Rebecca Hanson, and Hampton Yount. As with the original iteration, the show focuses on a wayward space traveler (Ray) who is trapped on a space station, the Satellite of Love, and forced to watch terrible movies in an experiment to see how long it will take for him to lose his mind. Joined by his robot companions Crow T. Robot (Yount) and Tom Servo (Vaughn), Ray’s character (Jonah Heston) must riff his way through the movies to keep his sanity.

Harmontown featuring Dan Harmon, Jeff B. Davis and Spencer Crittenden:

Dan Harmon, creator of beloved shows Rick and Morty and Community, will be recording a live episode of his popular podcast, Harmontown, alongside Whose Line is it Anyway?‘s Jeff B. Davis and HarmonQuest gamemaster Spencer Crittenden.

Portlandia featuring Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, hosted by Chris Hardwick:

The stars of IFC’s hit, Emmy-nominated comedy will take to the stage to talk with Hardwick about the show’s production and cultural impact, as they prepare to head into the show’s eighth and final season.

Stan Against Evil featuring stars John C. McGinley and Janet Varney and creator Dana Gould

The creator and stars of IFC’s popular horror comedy series, Stan Against Evil, will get together to discuss the show’s creative process and answer questions from fans. The show follows ex-sheriff Stan Miller (McGinley) as he begrudgingly joins forces with current sheriff Evie Barret (Varney) to fight the forces of evil that have taken hold of their town.

Festival organizers promise that there will be another wave of announcements regarding performers soon, so keep an eye on The IBang and the festival’s website for more information as it comes.
