CBS Already Chucked Letterman’s Set in the Dumpster

Removal of stage set from, Late Show David Letterman Ed Sullivan Theatre in midtown mhtn.

While a few pieces of memorabilia are bound for Letterman and Shaffer’s personal collections, and some were hauled away for posterity, most of the desks, and set pieces from the iconic Late Show set were sent to the dumpster mere hours after the show wrapped. Dumpster divers rejoice!
