Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher Split an Album

Comedians and married couple Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher released a combination comedy album today via Aspecialthing Records. Titled Back to Back the combined project was recorded live as part of their Back to Back Tour. Six of the twelve tracks include the two comedians on stage together, and each comic also contributed three solo tracks to the album. This is the first time a same sex married couple released an album performing as a duo act and separately, and while that may seem like a microstat, it’s still fantastic. The album features all new material and covers Cameron and Rhea’s takes on love, identity and pop culture.

Order ‘Back To Back’ on iTunes and everywhere albums are sold. You can also purchase the album with merch including a t=shirt, a button pack and a poster at aspecialthing.

Cameron and Rhea are the creators and stars of the critically acclaimed hit TV comedy series Take My Wife and they are notably the first gay, married couple to co-create, co-star and co-show run a TV show. Both Cameron and Rhea were also named in Variety’s prestigious “Comics To Watch” list, and both released stand-up albums which went to #1 on iTunes Comedy. At home in L.A., Cameron and Rhea co-host the weekly comedy show and podcast Put Your Hands Together at the famed Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Cameron also hosts the Queery podcast where she goes off-script to talk gender, upbringing and pop culture with guests including Jill Solloway, Mary Lambert, Evan Rachel Wood, Tegan and Sara, Madin Lopez and more.
