Brooklyn Prepares Last Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival Ever!

For ten years, Brooklyn has played host to the little-festival-that-could, the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival. Coming from humble beginnings, the festival, hosted and curated by comedian Eugene Mirman (Bob’s Burgers, StarTalk), has turned into a delightfully weird event that provides attendees with a wide variety of acts and interactive extras (such as giant Jenga with Pilgrims and a Mike Pence look-a-like party) that sets it apart from the standard comedy festival. That unexpectedly long run, however, is coming to a close this summer, as Mirman has announced that this iteration of the event, taking place from Friday, September 15th — Tuesday, September 19th, will be its last.

Hoping to give the festival a memorable send-off, Merman has a great lineup of comics in store for fans that includes Bobcat Goldthwait, Janeane Garofalo, Wyatt Cenac, Mike Birbiglia, Aparna Nancherla, Jon Glaser, Joel Kim Booster, Caroline Rhea, Ophira Eisenberg, Derrick Brown, Robyn Hitchcock, Kyle Ayers, Sarah Vowell, Maeve Higgins and more. Also coming to the festival will be a special performance of StarTalk Live! with Neil deGrasse Tyson and to-be-announced special guests.
