Brian Regan Joins the Roster of Comedy Elite Recording Specials for Netflix

Normally when a comedian performs on the Tonight Show, his or her set alone is big news. With Brian Regan, Tuesday night’s appearance was even more special. That’s because, not only did Brian perform, but it was also announced that he’ll be filming two more specials for Netflix. The first one will be taped in Denver over two nights, June 23rd and 24th, at the Paramount Theatre. The streaming service has locked in another one of America’s (and our) favorite comedians for multiple specials. It continues to show Netflix’s commitment to being the leader in comedy programming.

Regan’s last hour was performed LIVE at Radio City Music Hall in September 2015 for Comedy Central. Regan’s first two specials in 2007 and 2008 were also for Comedy Central. This will be his first Netflix hour. Netflix has been grabbing up the biggest names in comedy (Seinfeld, Rock, Chappelle, C.K., Schumer, Morgan, James, Silverman all signed in the last year) and Regan is absolutely among their ranks despite that he jokes that he could perform for a sold out theater and then walk into a Starbucks next door and be ignored. He is one of the most loved and respected comedians touring today, and comedy’s biggest names look up to him.  Jerry says, “He is one of my favorite, favorite stand-up comedians.” puts Brian into perspective saying, “No comedian in the world says, ‘Yeah, I want to follow Brian Regan.’” And says “I’ll take all of that guy you got…Very funny man.”

Brian will be taping his first Netflix special over two nights in Denver on Friday, June 23rd and Saturday, June 24th at the Paramount Theatre. And go to BrianRegan.com for other tour dates.
