‘Bob’s Burgers’ Cast to Host ‘Beef Relief’ Comedy Benefit for International Aid Group

Is there anything better than a comedy show that’s for a good cause? On Thursday, September 21st, the cast of Bob’s Burgers will be doing just that, throwing a killer comedy show to benefit The International Rescue Committee, which aims to provide famine relief in Yemen and aid refugees who are resettling in Los Angeles. The event will take place at Largo at the Coronet in LA.

Called Beef Relief, this live comedy event will feature a host of comics and voice actors from Bob’s Burgers and beyond. Featured performers include event host Kristen Schaal (Louise Belcher), Dan Mintz (Tina Belcher), Will Forte (Mr. Grant), Andy Kindler (Mort), Zach Galifianakis (Felix/Chet), Laura Silverman (Andy), Ron Funches (Horseplay) and, last but not least, Jon Lovett of the popular political podcast Pod Save America.

“There’s a real immediate need for help in Yemen — not someday, but right now. There are also refugees coming here to Los Angeles with very little who need a helping hand,” said Wendy Molyneux, co-executive producer of Bob’s Burgers. “The IRC serves both functions, and so we just wanted to harness the power of the show to help out in whatever way we could. Also, it’s just fun to say Beef Relief. Beef Relief. You get it.”

Beef Relief will take place on Thursday, September 21st at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $100 — $500 and can be bought either at Largo’s site or the official event site.
