The new Disney Star Wars universe is expanding with a movie about young Han Solo which also features a younger Lando Calrissian played by Donald Glover. Billy Dee Williams who played Lando in the original trilogy has given Glover his blessing, but still feels weird about sharing the character. He said, “I don’t know…I just see myself as Lando. I mean, Lando has been very much a part of my life for over 30 years. When I go out and do conventions and stuff like that, even though people know me from all the other things that I’ve done, certainly [Lando] takes precedence.” Translation: Glover better not fuck with his autograph money at future Comic-Cons.
