Bill Cosby’s Wife Releases Statement On The Sexual Assault Accusations
For the first time since sexual assault and rape allegations came out about her husband Bill, Camille Cosby is speaking to the media. In a statement released by CBS News, Camille calls Bill Cosby “a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, and a wonderful husband, father and friend.” She added that the Bill Cosby portrayed in the media as someone who is being accused of drugging and sexually assaulting women, is “the portrait of a man I do not know.”
Camille is comparing the stories about her husband to the Rolling Stone story about the University of Virginia which turned out to be full of mistakes. She finished her statement by asking, “Who is the victim?”
CBS News put out her full statement on Twitter. What’s unclear is why they referred to her husband as Billy Cosby?
