It’s April, which means we’re just a few months away from North America’s greatest comedy festival, Just for Laughs, and one of the festival’s most popular shows, The Nasty Show. For the uninitiated, The Nasty Show is a long-running feature of the festival, an event which gathers some of the raunchiest, rawest, most uncensored comics under one roof for a night of no-holds-barred comedy. Performers from previous years include Mike Ward, Gilbert Gottfried, Dave Attell, Artie Lange, Jimmy Carr, Sarah Silverman and many more. Now, we’re starting to get an idea of who to expect at this year’s event, and it’s appearing to be one hell of a show.
This year’s Nasty Show features performers truly deserving of the title “nasty,” including a few mega-popular New York City comics. There will be ten performances of the show taking place at JFL between July 19th and the 28th, so these are only a select few of the faces you’ll be seeing on stage, and things are already looking promising. Featured comics include Big Jay Oakerson (SiriusXM’s The Bonfire, What’s Your F@%king Deal?!), Robert Kelly (You Know What Dude!, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll), Godfrey (The Mr. Men Show) and returning nasty boy Jimmy Carr (8 Out of 10 Cats). Recent Nasty Shows have been hosted by Artie Lange and Mike Ward, although it’s unclear who will be hosting any of the shows this year.
Pre-sale tickets for The Nasty Show are available now, and will open to the general public on Friday, April 21st at 10 a.m. For tickets and additional information on this year’s JFL, taking place from July 13th — 31st, check out the festival’s website.
