Axl Says NoSlash

We’ve Got Questions.  You’ve Got Answers.

Earlier this week it was reported that Axl Rose banned any fans wearing Slash shirts from coming to his shows.  And he really means it.  At a recent show, 18-year old James Revell said he was told to remove his top because no one was allowed in wearing a Slash T-shirt.  Security was quoted as saying “We were told by the management not to allow anyone into the O2 Arena who is wearing a Slash T-shirt and we are asking anyone who is to remove it and if they refuse they will be turned away.” (NME Magazine)  They’re calling it a dress code and saying they have the right to dictate a dress code.  But should the rules be said up front before tickets are bought?  Or can a performer just decide they don’t want anyone in red shirts an hour before the show begins.  We want to know what you think.
