Louis C.K. Wins Another Comedy Grammy But Should He Have?

Last night Louis C.K. took home the Grammy for Best Comedy Album amongst a field of strong contenders including Jay Mohr, Lisa Lampanelli, Wyatt Cenac, and Craig Ferguson. It's Louis' second Grammy win, the first being for Best Comedy Album for Hilarious in 2012.

ABC Takes Page out of SPIKE Playbook, Orders Show Based on Jimmy Kimmel’s “Who Knows…”

SPIKE hit a homerun when it turned Jimmy Fallon’s late night “Lip Sync Battles” into a full series and just last week the network announced it was also producing a one off special based off James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke. This week ABC announced that Jimmy Kimmel and Banijay Studios are teaming up to bring us “Big Fan”, the ultimate superfan game show.

Egyptian Jon Stewart- Bassem Youssef- is Coming to Fusion

Bassem Youssef also known as the “Egyptian Jon Stewart” took Egypt by storm when he started the first satirical news show of its kind during the Arab Spring. His introduction to America came via The Daily Show the same show that inspired Bassem to use satire to skewer the political situation in his home country. It only makes sense that Daily Show producer Kathy Egan is hopping on board the Fusion launch of Youssef’s new show dedicated to American politics and culture, The Democracy Handbook.

For an African American male in today’s society that ran with an anti war theater group and Jane Fonda, while spending his whole life as a vocal activist for black America? Robin Williams Estate Sold to French Winemakers

Villa Sorriso or “ Villa of Smiles” the sprawling 640 acre spread sold on Monday for $18.1 Million dollars according to the New York Daily News. Built for Robin Williams in the early 2000’s, the estate offered a home theater, infinity pool, a home theater, three safe rooms, and access to hiking trails surrounding the home.
