Author Harper Lee Passes Away At Age 89

Harper Lee, the beloved author of the American Classic ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ has passed away. ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ – which focused on the racial injustices of a small Alabama town as told through the eyes of a 10-year-old girl – was first published in 1960 and has since been translated into more than 40 languages and has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide. Lee won the Pulitzer Prize for the novel in 1961. She was 89 when she died.
