Anthony DeVito Performs Stand Up on Colbert

Friday night, Anthony DeVito performed stand up on Stephen Colbert’s Late Show. If there was ever any question that DeVito belongs on television, his set last night absolutely resolved it. Anthony won the audience over right away with jokes about his own ethnicity (or at least the appearance of ethnicity), the dilution of races and the introduction of the greatest phrase you’ve ever heard on late night, “chilly-willy-penguin-bones.”

And as a bonus, you get to hear Colbert plug Anthony’s podcast, The Rad Dudecast, which may be the funniest thing Colbert has ever had to say.

This was Anthony’s network television debut, but he’s already appeared on Comedy Central’s Adam Devine’s House Party, was chosen as one of the “New Faces” at the 2012 Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, he’s been on This American Life, AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, TVLand’s Jim Gaffigan Show, Seeso’s New York’s Funniest and was the 2015 winner of Carolines Comedy Madness and then there’s his regular appearances on Fox News Channel’s Red Eye, and Sirius XM’s Bennington.

Last May we profiled Anthony for our #UpNext photo series. We absolutely love him and if you don’t know and love him already. Check out his set below. You will.
