One of the most promising shows of 2015 has just solidified its cast.

Comedy Central has announced that Laura Ash (‘Super Fun Night’), Michael Ian Black (‘You’re Whole’), Paget Brewster (‘Criminal Minds’), Beth Dover (‘Children’s Hospital’), Brett Gelman (‘Married’), Brian Huskey (‘Veep’), David Koechner (‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’), Jason Ritter (‘Parenthood’), David Wain (‘Children’s Hospital’), and Arment Weitzman (‘Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous’) will round out the cast for ‘Another Period’, a historical and satirical series set to premiere next year.

Executive produced by Ben Stiller, ‘Another Period’ stars Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome as two sisters from an affluent Rhode Island family who want to attend the best parties, become famous and look good while doing it. The only problem is that they come from a family that offers nothing to the world outside of being wealthy. Plus, its 1902, so there’s no internet, social media, no gossip columns, TMZ or any of the means that can accelerate your profile. Think of it as a cross between the Kennedys and the Kardashians at the dawn of the 20th Century.

By mixing history with satire, ‘Another Period’ has all of the makings to be Comedy Central’s next breakout hit. It’s currently in production in Los Angeles and will begin its 10 episode run in 2015.
