Amy Schumer is continuing her film career with “I Feel Pretty” from rom-com writing team Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein. The logline for “Pretty” is under wraps, but considering Schumer’s debut with “Trainwreck” and Kohn and Silverstein’s credits (“Never Been Kissed“, “He’s Just Not That Into You“, “How to be Single”), it’s likely the film will be a romantic comedy.

Schumer co-produced “Trainwreck” and will also produce “Pretty”, which only makes sense with Schumer’s visibility as a comic. It’s also logical that the producers would capitalize on Schumer’s fame and the success of “Trainwreck” to market “I Feel Pretty” as exclusive by keeping its plot under wraps. However, the secrecy could be due to how early in the process the film is currently at. The film is due to shoot on the East Coast this summer, so it may debut in 2018. Whether the filmmakers continue their clandestineness as the film progresses will become apparent in the coming months.
