All Things Comedy Network Adds Legendary Funnyman Doug Stanhope to Lineup

The talent-rich All Things Comedy Network has just added another quality name to their stable of great podcast programming. As of May 20th, fans of Doug Stanhope and his eloquently named podcast, Doug Stanhope’s Podcast, will be able to tune in via ATC. Produced from his desert dwelling in Arizona, Stanhope has independently put out podcasts once a week for the past year and a half.

Joining the likes of Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast, Al Madrigal’s Minivan Men, Ari Shaffir’s Skeptic Tank, and other unique podcasts should mean more new listeners for Stanhope.

“It really says a lot about what we’re trying to do,” Al Madrigal said, “…we’re starting ATC the same way we started our comedy careers, concentrate on being funny and the business end will all fall into place.” The network’s philosophy and “build it from the ground up” approach aligns with how road veteran Doug Stanhope has grown crowds that cling to the hilarity of his restless opinions and inebriated emotions.

An indicator of the move may have been Doug Stanhope’s recent appearance on Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast. “I’ve known [Stanhope] for almost 20 years and he’s always been as hilarious as he is honest. There’s no one like him. I’m thrilled he’s joining ATC,” Burr said. Stanhope can now spread his views to a wider audience and the All Thing’s Comedy Network has no problem providing the avenue.
