Alec Baldwin Will Make ‘SNL’ History with 17th Hosting Appearance

When it comes to Alec Baldwin and Saturday Night Live, the news lately has been surrounding the actor’s frighteningly-accurate impersonation of Donald Trump. Now, however, Baldwin is in the news for a different reason.

On February 11th, Baldwin is scheduled to make a record-setting 17th appearance as the host of SNL; he last hosted in November of last year. Baldwin already holds the record for most hosting appearances at 16, so at this point he’s just raising the bar even higher. Baldwin will be joined on February 11th by musical guest Ed Sheeran, who has performed on the show once before.

Baldwin’s appearance is sure to come with plenty of Donald Trump material. Now, the question that our own Amma Marfo presents:  Do we really need any more of it?
