Adidas Had To Apologize For Congratulating People On “Surviving The Boston Marathon”

Adding to the list of PR disasters this month, Adidas had to apologize to customers after they e-mailed everyone who completed the Boston Marathon by saying “Congrats, you survived the Boston Marathon!” which is offensive for obvious reasons related to the tragedy of the Boston Marathon bombing a few years ago. Pepsi, Sean Spicer and United Airlines must be pooling in together to send Adidas flowers to go along with that “L” they’re about to take.
