90,000 Singing Florida Gators Fans Honor Tom Petty At The Swamp


During this weekend’s Florida Gators game in Gainesville, Florida, 90,000 fans in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium stopped to sing Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” in the Swamp to honor Gainesville’s favorite son. Several Gators fans left with tears in their eyes from all the emotion. Not from the song, but when the Gators’ kicker missed an extra point, costing them the game against LSU.
