80 Year Ban On Pinball In Oakland Lifted
Pinball has been illegal in the city of Oakland since the 1930s when it was banned as part of anti-gambling ordinances put in place 80 years ago. Now, the Oakland city council voted to amend their gambling laws to allow pinball. Unfortunately, there’s still a law on the books banning people from riding their old-timey bicycles with the giant front wheel faster than 5 mph to the arcade.
