The 32nd anniversary of the original Ghostbusters is coming up on June 8th, and fans of the series are getting a special treat to celebrate the occasion: The cast of the original film, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts, will join the cast of the new film, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon, on the couch of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The level of nerdery that will take place that day is beyond fathoming with the two casts likely to talk about Ghostbusters both old and new.

Speaking to USA TODAY, Ghostbusters reboot director Paul Feig had this to say of the monumental occasion: “Seeing the original and new Ghostbusters all together (will be) like being in the presence of the comedy gods on Mount Olympus. This is an epic summit of some of the funniest people on the planet. Long live the Ghostbusters!”

June 8th is known among fans as “Ghostbusters Day,” and the folks behind the franchise plan to celebrate the event by re-releasing the original 1984 film in 800 theaters across the country. The screenings will feature a snippet of the new movie as well, which debuts nationwide on July 15th.
