Wisconsin Town Will Now Start Fining Bullies’ Parents

First, they get a warning, then parents of repeat offenders can be ticketed by police and fined up to $114 the first time, and $177 for any other violations during the same year. The kids can be fined as well if they’re over the age of 12.

Maybe this is a good thing.  By actually making it illegal, they're opening it up to a challenge in the courts, which might help put an end to this sort of nonsense.

It is essentially part of Madison. Regardless of where you stand on the issue, this would be the first area to do it in Wisconsin.

Sounds dangerous. Te article doesn't even define what "bullying" is... And who gets to make that decision? My definition of bullying most people consider "assault".

I used to live in a small Wisconsin town. I paid over 2,000$ in fines before I could even drive. Skateboarding/Curfew(10:30)/spitting/smoking/disorderly conduct. All Bullshit. Wisconsin knows how to keep the income coming in. Or, they really are the most caring government on earth and I really do need them to protect me from myself.
