By cutting up used barrels and inserting them into the creation of the alcohol, they’re giving the same taste to the less aged alcohol. Is nothing sacred!?

aging is not just about adding the color and the flavor of the charred barrel, but the whisky gets smoother the longer it's stored. So I'm guessing Cleveland whisky is as harsh as the city.

the whiskey is done fermenting after it is added to the charred barrels...  it does seem like the act of absorbing/releasing the ethanol can be expedited without ruining quality

@deliciousv You sir are correct. I've had it. It's strong bit a lot of raw wood flavor. I would say though if you like Jack Daniels, you'll probably enjoy it.
