The Next World’s Tallest Building
Architects and record-keepers have been waiting for months to learn the status of Broad Group’s “Sky City,” a 220-story skyscraper that is supposed to be built in just seven months this winter in the Chinese city of Changsha. If it’s anything like other Chinese Skyscrapers it will remain unoccupied.

"The next world's tallest skyscraper" would be a kickass reality show. Let ventura host it. "You've been voted off 'next worlds tallest skyscraper. Please ignite the thermite paint. Thank you for your service."
Since China is a communist dictatorship they can do cool shit just for the sake of it being cool. You don't have some whiny tea party bitching up spending billions on crazy empty mega skyscrapers. America used to do cool monuments and shit back in the day but we are really getting lazy. Don't even really have a space program anymore.
Really starting to hate China after watching that episode of Vice. Those fuckers won't stop, and they're going to take us down with them.
220 feet and built in 7 months...I think if you walk up the stairs you are going to see the Queen of hearts, 6 of Dimonds, 8 of Clubs.....
The reason it's unoccupied is the sign in front of the elevators that reads "You Must Be This Tall To Ride This".
The rental space may end up empty, but I'm sure there will be plenty of chinamen entombed in the foundations....
No kidding unoccupied! Saw that recent Vice. They just have tons of brand new Ghost cities in China. Shit is cray.
@Rorschach7 unions. blame the fucking unions & politicians...
@Rorschach7 The tower is filled with dead chinamen, most of whom fell into the foundation and were buried with it. Their families were happy they died since it increased their rice ration to two 10lb bags a week and a nice shiny five jiao coin was deposited in their accounts.
Freedom Tower has zero dead and many of those guys got a nice yearly job to sort of show up or have their buddy cover them while they slipped out to the jack booths.
@Cletus from Brooklyn @Rorschach7 Exactly! Why can't we be more like China and pay our workers shit wages, and work them ungodly hours in unsafe conditions. At least the tower would be done, which affects my life.... well, it doesn't really affect my life now that I think about it. But, yeah! No unions and the Chinese political system is where it's at.
