Look, you had 10,000 years after migrating across the Bering Straight to tame two continents plentiful in natural resources. In the same time period in Europe and Asia humans domesticated animals, learned about cultivation, invented gunpowder, built sailing ships, and developed sextants to use the stars to navigate around the world.
In the same time period, you never rose above living in tents and wearing animal skins. So was it really surprising the Europeans rolled over your ass?

As progressive as Ron aspires to be, his views on race are becoming antiquated. Baby boomers (like Ron) built their identities on race relations in the context of their time. Failing to realize the fluidity of these relations in the context of 2013, and assuming that as Caucasians they still have the luxury of guilt and self hate, is quite frankly racist.
Sure - and the Romans, Saxons, Jutes, Angles, Danes, and Normans were all illegal immigrants to the British Islands.

His argument is that all non-native americans are "illegal immigrants". I don't agree with him, really, but I don't see how him accepting money from the US. Government would have anything to do with whether he is a hypocrite or not.
