Here’s footage from inside a Turkish airliner that was hit by lightning and one of it’s engines burst into flames. You’ll notice two things that happen when a plane is struck by lightning. The lights go out and everyone stays strangely calm. The plane landed safely with no injuries.
And here’s the view from the ground…
these would be much more exciting if it was a school bus filled with children that was hit by lightening and set on fire.
the reason they didn't panic was the thought of all those sweet sweet virgins they would get if they crashed..

Its Turkey. A passenger plane coming in with no lights and one engine on fire is probably a normal event
