Finally, Norman ‘Chubby’ Chaney Gets a Headstone 76 Years Late
A small group gathered Saturday at Baltimore Cemetery for the unveiling of a headstone for Norman “Chubby” Chaney, a child star in “The Little Rascals” whose grave had gone unmarked for 76 years. Hopefully the head stone simply read “Don’t call me Norman, call me ‘Chubsy-Ubsy.’”

That is one chubby little bastard. I bet he had a peanut allergy and the director would rub his face in peanut shells before each shoot to get that dangerously swollen look. Child actors were so much tougher back then.
Check out that scene on YouTube. Miss Crabtree gives young Norman a long, lingering kiss on the lips. WTF? My guess is that mega-tongue was involved. Miss Crabtree smells like a new haircut? No no no....by the end of that scene she probably smelled like a sack of fresh haddock.
