2012 Election Reminder From George Carlin

Not a day goes by when I don't miss that man. Just as we still study the works of Shakespeare today, I think George Carlin's work will be equally revered hundreds of years from now. That is assuming, of course, that we survive as a species. 

i've been a follower of the book of george since 12 years old when i started watching his standup and he turned my worldview on it's ear.  RIP to the king.

Carlin was so fucking cool

I guess he got all pessimistic at the end. I remember when he claimed our political system would soon based around the music of Bill S. Preston Esquire and the Wild Stallyns.

Unfortunately George never got a chance to hear a few hours ago a CNN "news personality" say that the election was a "royal rumble."   Life continues to  imitate pro wrestling. 

He was wrong about one thing, they don't even want workers anymore

I'm making a conscious decision not to vote today. Only because A) None of the candidates really speak to me or give a shit about anything except for getting elected and B) They have for the last two months kept calling my house non-stop with robo calls like they were debt collectors and annoying me to no end. Fuck em.
