News sources are reporting anwhere from 12 to 14 people dead and 50 injured when shooting erupted during a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises at a suburban Denver movie theater, police said. The suspect is in custody and has been identified as James Holmes, born December 13, 1987.

not able to listen live so forgive me if this has already been brought up, obviously it's a terrible thing that this fucking nut case did. What kind of impact is that going to have on the movie's box office numbers? I mean i know it's ridiculous for people to not go see a movie because of one isolated but terrible incident but you know how people get. I wouldn't be surprised if maybe both to combat that and to help the victims some sort of per ticket donation to the victims and their families is devised.Not only would that potentially help the box office numbers but it would also really help out these poor people who had their lives destroyed by this piece of human garbage.
