I would have loved to have seen the reaction if other addictive substances such as alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine had been brought up in addition to crack, meth and heroin. Marijuana is classified as a schedule 1 drug, and yet is far less dangerous than the drugs most Americans put in their bodies, LEGALLY, everyday. And yet it is considered by hypocrites like this woman to be as dangerous as the most powerfully addictive substances humankind has yet discovered.

@MalibuGym Marijuana is a Schedule I drug in the same category as heroin, Meth and crack. ZERO people die annually as a use of marijuana. Many more people die annually from alcohol! Its a shame that our options for our health all comes down to what can make companies and lobbyists and our government the most money.

This is despicable. These lawmakers play dumb and act like they are still in the 1950s. Tons of people smoke pot recreationally with little to no repurcussions. It's actually been shown to help people struggling with certain painful diseases. Yet we still have people like this, unable to think for herself and be honest. She knows the answers to these questions and chooses to umm and duhhh her way through it. This "marijuana is bad schtick" is old and tired.

She keeps alluding to schedule 1 drugs are illegal and addictive. But prescription narcotics are schedule 1 drugs. So marijuana still can be schedule 1 and legal.
@FSUfanboy Most are actually Schedule 2. Oxycodone, Fentanyl, Opium, and Methadone are all Schedule 2. Along with Cocaine and PCP.

My father in law got drug treatment for pills at a VA where he was told that alcohol was the most addictive of all drugs and that marijuana is not addictive. Show me a 3rd party study that demonstrates withdrawal symptoms after extensive marijuana use is discontinued. You can't because they don't exist.
