Flume Ride Fail

Here’s a video from an incident on the Tutuki Splash boat ride at PortAventura in Spain last week. Looks like the first boat was improperly loaded, with no one in the first 2-3 rows of the boat and the back 3 rows loaded to the gills. So when it hit the splashdown pool it pops up and derails. Guests start to jump out of the boat quickly afterwards, because there is a second boat in the flume and heading their way! Worst of all, it looks like the least fun log flume ride we’ve ever seen. Fortunately it appears that no one was injured.
