I believe this started when Nashville played Detroit in response to Detroit's "octopus" on the ice.
It's become a tradition at Nashville games, a takeoff of the octopus that Red Wings fans toss onto the ice in Detroit. I love it. Anything to help grow the popularity of the sport I love.
What happened? You got lazy and felt guilty for settling for this lame video. You thought you could salvage things and still get a laugh by adding every demeaning stereotypical red neck slur and insult to the story???
