Behold! One of the Worst Calls In Baseball, Ever!
Could this be the worst call you’ve ever seen!? Tim Welke calls Jerry Hairston out at first. You won’t need a slow motion replay of this one to see the bad call. You really don’t even need to see the video. This image says it all. But the call has everyone once again questioning whether baseball needs an expanded replay/review system in place. The Rockies won over the Dodgers 8-5.

Don't forget when you open the door way to instant replay you have to deal with the unspoken spirit of the rule. Which just pisses me off even more on plays that should be common sense and over turned.
Bad call or great play by Todd Helton? He screened the ump like he is taught in close plays. It is the ego of the ref not to ask for help of the umpire on the call. Which is his right but I am sure he will get reprimanded for it. Now if it was the playoffs I would be out for that guy's blood. This is baseball. Don't ask to slow it down anymore with replay.
I don't mind bad calls if they're in favor of my team. Otherwise, just use the damn instant replay to make calls (in my team's favor of course)
Playing with balls and sticks...proof that more than 98.5% of our DNA is identical to that of chimps.
Welke is also one of the mother fuckers that believes that baseball needs the "Human Element" he gave a big presentation about how if we go to machine or replays the game won't be the same, and he's completely right...for once we'd have the right calls.Give the manager 1 challenge per series and let a "Booth" review home runs and foul balls like they do now.
Humans invented instant replay didn't they? Give managers 2 challenges. At least Jim Joyce is off the hook (kinda)
This is one of the many reasons why i think Umpires are the most ignorant, dumbest, assholes on the face of the earth and i love it when one of then gets punched in the face, ball in the face or nuts.
The best thing in sports in the manager running out of the dugout to bitch. Fuck replay in its mouth
Hoo hoo. Tell 'em, Fred!
@Cletus from Brooklyn and that asshole is still allowed to call games. He loves to bring attention to himself by yelling Strike really really loud. He is a cunt and should not be allowed to call tee ball
